Lorsque j'ai commencé à créer de la mode recyclée à partir de vêtements de seconde main il y a plus de 20 ans, j'utilisais les moyens du bord avec mon background d'étudiante en arts plastiques et mon héritage de famille d'artistes sans me douter que cette démarche préfigurait le futur de la mode.
Pour moi la mode est un moyen d'expression et non un masque social. Je n'ai jamais réussi à entrer dans aucune case ni aucun moule, donc j'ai décidé de créer mon propre univers. J'aime les excentriques et le conformisme me fait fuir.
Pourquoi ma boutique s'appelle-t-elle le Lunar Pop Shop ? C'est avant tout un hommage au Pop Shop de Keith Haring qui a influencé toute ma formation artistique et qui fût un pionnier : pour la première fois, un artiste ouvrait une boutique et mettait son art à la portée de tous. Venant du domaine artistique, j'ai l'habitude de concevoir mes créations comme des œuvres d'art.
Et Lunar alors ? Cela vient de mon goût irraisonné pour le retrofuturisme et son esthétique qui m'a fait rêver chez les Jetsons aussi bien que chez Courrèges ou dans les BD de Daniel Torres "Rocco Vargas". Instinctivement je crée un monde qui me rend heureuse, je m'y installe et je vous y invite, vous qui passez par là.

When I started to create recycled fashion from second-hand clothes more than 20 years ago, I used the means at hand as a former student of visual arts and a member of a family of artists, without suspecting that this step prefigured the future of fashion.
For me, fashion is a means of expression and not a social mask. I have never accepted to be boxed in or to conform to any mold, so I have decided to create my own universe. I like eccentrics and conformism makes me run away.
Why is my shop called the Lunar Pop Shop? It is above all a tribute to Keith Haring's Pop Shop who has influenced all my artistic studies and who was a pioneer : for the first time, an artist was opening a shop and putting his art within the reach of all. Coming from the artistic field, I am used to designing my creations as works of art.
And then, why Lunar ? It comes from my impassioned taste for retrofuturism and its aesthetics that made me dream in the universes of the Jetsons as well as Courrèges or in Daniel Torres's comics "Rocco Vargas". Instinctively I create a world that makes me happy, I settle in and I invite you to join in as you are passing by.
